Honest marketing isn’t just good practice, it’s the law.

Representatives from the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection will share real examples of deceptive marketing practices they’ve encountered and explain how they ran afoul of Wis. Stat. §100.18 and ATCP 127.  You’ll learn it’s not just the words that may make an advertisement misleading, but also how the imagery can be deceptive. 

Michael Domke serves as Director of DATCP’s Bureau of Consumer Protection and Attorney Paul LaZotte serves as Assistant Legal Counsel within DATCP’s Office of the Secretary.
