Update on Changes to the Rules of Civil Procedure
At noon on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at the Madison Club, Attorney David Blinka will provide an update on important changes to the Wisconsin Rules of Civil Procedure.
David Blinka is an associate attorney in the firm’s Madison office where he has worked since 2012. David’s practice encompasses various personal injury cases, including claims involving wrongful death, products liability and motor vehicle accidents. He began his career at Habush Habush & Rottier by assisting with the successful settlement of claims for over 200 property owners in the Town of Jackson, Wisconsin, who were impacted by groundwater contamination arising from the release of gasoline from a pipeline that ruptured.
Prior to joining Habush Habush & Rottier, David dedicated his efforts to serving the public’s interest in securing justice and protecting legal rights while learning trial practice as a volunteer prosecutor during and shortly after he graduated law school. He remains active in the legal community through his involvement with the Dane County Bar Association, having recently served on its board as a member of the New Lawyers Section. He has also remains active with the Wisconsin Association for Justice, for which he has published articles on litigation topics and presented at seminars for tort-based issues. His commitment to volunteer work also extends to programs conducted by the University of Wisconsin Law School to help prepare students for the practice of law.
