Social Security Disability Law for Non-Specialists
At noon on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the Madison Club, Attorney Amanda Pirt Meyer will give an overview of Social Security disability law, designed for attorneys who may not practice regularly in this area.
Amanda Pirt Meyer received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2004 and her law degree from Marquette University Law School in 2011.
All of Amanda’s work experiences have led her to practice Social Security law. Before she started law school, Amanda worked for health insurers in claims processing and training areas. Upon enrolling in law school, she focused on tax, estate and probate matters and family law. Since attaining her law degree, she worked as a personal injury attorney.
Amanda is a member of the Dane County Bar Association, Wisconsin Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.
