Landlord/Tenant Law Update

At noon on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at the Madison Club, Attorney Jacob Frost will discuss changes to the landlord tenant laws over the past couple years, as well as case law developments. As has been a theme in the last 8 years, the law keeps changing, usually for the benefit of the landlords and landlords’ attorneys. Attorney Frost will discuss these changes and common issues he has observed in this area of law, including concerns caused by changes in federal law that seem counter to state law.

Jacob is a partner at Boardman & Clark LLP and practices family law, collection law (primarily creditor’s rights), and civil litigation. Jacob also handles landlord tenant law nearly exclusively on behalf of landlords, advising on compliance with relevant laws, resolving disputes with tenants, and handling evictions, as well as defending fair housing complaints. Jacob graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2010 and has been with Boardman since graduation.
