Business Law Update:

Wine Isn’t An Intoxicating Liquor, Business Sellers May Decline To Work For Free,

And Other Sobering Decisions By Wisconsin Courts

Presented by Kevin Palmersheim

At noon on January 14, 2020, at the Madison Club, Attorney Kevin Palmersheim will present his biennial business law update titled Wine Isn’t An Intoxicating Liquor, Business Sellers May Decline To Work For Free, and Other Sobering Decisions By Wisconsin Courts. The presentation will summarize Wisconsin cases from 2018-19 that have addressed key business issues, with Kevin’s editorial take on those decisions (including matching the vintage and temperature of the courts with the appropriate legal strategies).

Kevin Palmersheim is the managing shareholder in the law firm Palmersheim Dettmann, S.C., whose practice is concentrated in the areas of business law and litigation. He regularly advises businesses on contract and transactional matters and acts as outside general counsel for family businesses and other companies. In addition to trying cases, Kevin has successfully argued business cases before appellate courts, including the United States Seventh Circuit and the Wisconsin Supreme Court. While Kevin doesn’t usually work for free, he must be mixing his beverages because the cost of this luncheon CLE is a bargain.
