FLAC and SCAP are walk-in clinics for self-represented parties. Both are staffed by volunteer attorneys and paralegals who give legal information about forms and procedures. SCAP meets every Tuesday from 9-11 am; FLAC meets every Wednesday from 11:30 am-1:30 pm. Both meet in the Dane County Courthouse and offer Spanish language assistance twice a month. Volunteers will have a 2-hour shift 2-4 times per year.
We need more volunteers, both English and Spanish speakers! The number of pro se litigants in the Wisconsin Court System continues to rise, and your assistance can make all the difference for someone trying to access justice. This training session is an excellent opportunity for both new and continuing volunteers. There is no registration fee so join us for what is guaranteed to be an informative afternoon.
