Balancing the Business of Law with Ethical Obligations

Attorney Saul Glazer will interview Attorney John Skilton about various ethical provisions in the context of John’s 55 years as a litigator.  Particular attention will be devoted to the oath obligation not to turn down representation of persons who are unable to pay. Other topics may include working with new attorneys, dealing with difficult clients, disclosing client confidential information in negotiations, and dealing with conflicts of interest.

Bio: John Skilton retired last year after practicing as a litigator for Foley, Heller Erhman, and Perkins Coie.  Saul Glazer is a construction attorney at Axley.
