Bio

Janice is proud to be an active member of the greater Madison community. She served on the Board of Trustees for her synagogue and volunteered with the Interfaith Hospitality Network now known as The Road Home. Janice provides pro bono services at the Dane County Family Law Assistance Center. Janice and her husband enjoy spending time with their adult children, young grandchildren, and Moxie, their German Wirehaired Pointer.

Janice has lectured at the UW – Madison Law School and the University of Wisconsin Extension. The Wisconsin Journal of Family Law published her work on the role of Guardian ad Litem, and she served on the Guardian ad Litem Legislative Council Advisory Committee. The State Bar of Wisconsin included her work in its Continuing Legal Education program.

She is a past Chair of the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin. At the CFLCW Annual Meeting in November 2016, she presented a discussion of “Confidentiality and Ethics.” Janice was quoted in the December 2016
